Shirley Wong

shirley wong sibu

This is Shirley, who has an interesting relationship to me. She is:

my good friend’s cousin
the niece of one of my company’s management
the daughter of one of our clients (which of course I’m not at liberty to name)

She’s a nice girl and she has a really cute little sister who’s
about 2 or 3 years old and a younger brother which is probably 9 or 10.
I was apprehensive about putting up her photo due to the complex nature
of the relationship at first.

This is the full frame grab. We weren’t ready coz the speedlight takes several seconds to go off.

shirley wong me streets
This is the default attitude you see in Sibu while out and about.

I took a photo with her and she asked me to wait and she got her own
camera and wanted to take a photo with me as well. I told her about the
blog and asked her twice if she would mind me posting our picture up
and she said she didn’t mind at all. Thus, I have exercised due
diligence in this matter. 😉

…and this is the last one which is a little blurry. The photos were all taken by her younger brother.

I think I’ll file this under People instead of that other category. 😉

  5. Nice work on the blog. Hopefully you don’t get much comment spam, becuase comment moderation is an absolute chore, I used to maintain the Microsoft forums and it was effort. I like how Digg comments work, user moderation does half the work for you then and you don’t need to babysit trolls and spammers!

  6. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.

  7. For what its worth, the layout is definitely amazing. You know how to balance writing and images/videos. However, I cant get over how little you actually bring to light here. I suppose that everyones said the same thing that youve said over and over again. Dont you suppose its time for something more?

  9. Only two years left before 2012. It is time to stack up on preservative foods that would normally kill us any other day. But since the world is ending anyway we would need anything that would preserve us until the aliens come to take us to their planet to put probes up our butts. Anunturi Romania

  11. I’m impressed, I have to say. Really seldom do I discover a blog thats both educational and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the matter is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to it.

  14. Well I don’t know I think you have to manage how you determine if it is true, manage how you feel, and make a good decision.  I do agree that ending the relationship is usually the best course of action although some people don’t feel that they are able to.  If they don’t feel they are able to they will need to manage their feelings, their expectations, and how they interact with the cheating partner… not everyone can or wants to leave their partner so they need to find coping skills that work or they may become depressed, withdrawn, paranoid…

On the desk there is a book lying open next to a sheet of paper with a few lines written on it in black ink. Before she has time to read them, Lawrence’s father returns. Robert is already placing a thickly buttered biscuit in his mouth.

  22. PlayStation Phone – No internal memory? That seems kind of weird since I doubt this thing will use UMD. Also, isn’t the PSP2 coming out next year? Will they make a PSP Phone 2? I’m kind of skeptical on this one. well, i can’t edit…but i wanted to add this. i wont be surprised if sony adds some type of adapter add on to the PS3 (something to support the IR blasters, and maybe a small unit within that add on that has more RAM) so it can support google tv. It would make so much sense for sony to be even more of a presence in the living room, other than what the ps3 can already do. If google tv ends up working out all the kinks, and getting better…i wouldn’t be surprised. On top of that being a selling point (a huge one) over the Wii and similar to the Xbox integration w/ att uverse, you’d be able to get the PSP phone and the ps3 to work all buddy buddy together. the possibilities are endless if you ask me. This would be called product synergy sony…listen to me
