Beng My Hair

beng my hair

I usually get a haircut and color my hair every month and I decided to crop it really short this time and also get it done in a lighter shade. This episode of Beng My Hair (not related to Pimp My Ride) brings in a decidedly orange hue to things.

color

I went for 0-77 Orange and my hairstylist Sue decided that she could improve on the color so I trusted in her judgment. She has been my hairstylist for almost two years now.

color mix

The radioactive looking orange paste was blended and prepared for application.

color hair

Sue started layering on the patented Beng My Hair color paste into my hair and left it there for three hours.

hairstylist food

I haven’t had anything to eat for dinner so I got the cafΓ© on the floor above to send down some much needed provisions.

hairstylist food macro

I had seafood fried rice with crackers and some iced dessert. It’s a little disconcerting to be eating at the hairstylists with the distinct smell of ammonia wafting down from the bleach. πŸ˜‰

hair done

This is what it looks like after three (3) hours. Just a spot of drying, and…

Wallah! πŸ™‚

  2. Dude welcome back. Thought you were dead. Glad to see your not.
You look so much better than in the few lasts posts from your last blog. Your skin looks smoother and cleaner, your eyes arent deep set and puffy anymore. You just have a generally healthy look. Whatever you have been doing keep it up. I am seriously impressed.
I am looking forward to reading more entries.

  3. Such a pretty hairstylist. I’d let her dye my hair green if she wanted to.
Make me feel like switching hairstylist. Been letting a guy cut my hair for 5 years. I miss the feeling of having the fingers of a pretty lady (other than my girlfriend) run thru my hair. Lol.

JW: heh! that was bleached hair, this is kinda orange. πŸ™‚
Crunk Juice: no, ah beng is a moniker for a typical uncultured chinese male of adolescent persuasion. πŸ™‚
rad alex: hey, thanks buddy. πŸ™‚
i wish i looked 16, i don’t think i would pass for anything less than 24 right now. i’m 27 and someone said i looked 29 the other day. now that really hurt my feelings. πŸ˜‰
Manuel Hung: i’ve got straight edge! πŸ˜‰
nah, i’m kidding. i’ve been doing rehab for the better part of last year, that’s what i’ve been doing. πŸ™‚

    cynthia: hmm…i don’t think you’ll be able to say that when you’re 70. πŸ˜‰
even my mom colors her hair coz of the grey.
DJ EZN: i’ll let her do MUCH more than just color my hair green. πŸ˜‰
i always get a female to cut my hair, i don’t really like getting my hair cut by guys.
clementwpy: hmm…i shall ask next month. πŸ™‚
