Mukah beach

mukah beach

The primary attraction of Mukah is the pristine beach that surrounds the town. The cool breeze coming in from the beach is refreshing with a hint of saltiness and it called to us like moths to a light.

ah beng

It was evening when we arrived in Kingwood Resort Mukah and I went down on, oops, I mean, with Clare to check out the beach and assumed my signature Ah Beng pose before going into the sea.

beached whale

It was fun to just lie in the sea and let the waves wash over your body. Very therapeutic. I’m having a (beached) whale of a time. πŸ˜‰

making mud mask

Mud masks are available in the local Mukah beach for next to free. Scoop mud and slather it all over your face.

mud mask

It makes for a good sunscreen as well but I got sunburnt anyway.

clare beach

Clare: The new definition of extreme laziness – sex on the beach by sitting in the sea, waiting for the waves to do the rest.

typo 1

I just had to do the obligatory Pimp My Blog thing on the beach. Unfortunately, my sobriety level was not at it’s optimal peak and I wrote “SIXTS…” before Clare corrected me and I used the stick to undo the typo.

typo 2

I then proceeded to make another typo – this time spelling it as “SIXTHT…” before she corrected me again. OMG! What is wrong with me? I can’t even spell my own blog URL. πŸ˜‰

pimp blog

However, with a bit of concentration, I finally got it right. πŸ™‚

blog done

sixthseal.com

sixthseal

I was so proud of the creation coz it took me so long to do it…

trample

…and Clare just proceeded to trample on it. πŸ™

red eyes

Mukah beach is fun but be forewarned – there be monsters. I got bitten by something with pincers and so did Clare (twice). Clare also managed to get sand into her panties. I’m not sure why she was wearing panties under her swim wear in the first place, but apparently sand in the linings of lingerie is almost impossible to wash off. Abandon all hope, all ye who enters here! =D

…and no, I did not take off my Speedos this time. πŸ˜‰

  3. HB, what amazed me about your site is you always can find something to write home. For example this Mukah beach, everybody knows the beach is dirty and the ocean water is muddy but you never mention it. After all these years following your site never did I notice you complaint and give bad comment to a place, person or product. Other blogger usually curse and swear when they find something not on his shoes.

  10. Wasn’t a very ‘beach’ person until I come to Perth. We go to the Cott, Scarbo beach all the time during Summer! Uh! We went down South for the lovely sand and sun along the West Coast. It is bloody amazing! *jumping up and down like s amsll kid*
Blah! Summer still like… months to come. We are now in the miserable winter. *potong steam*

  12. (=’.’=): Mukah is alright, considering it’s the closest beach to Sibu. The road is horrible though. It’s only 144 km away and yet takes 4 hours! If it’s a nicely paved highway, it would take probably 40 minutes to get there.
Bintulu has a beach? I didn’t even know that! But figures, since it’s located on the coastline and all that. Sabah beaches are the best in our landmass, me thinks. πŸ™‚
No nude photos, unfortunately, due to certain circumstances. It’s not a very acceptable form of relaxation for the fine people of Sibu. πŸ˜‰
suanie: Yeah, it’s near Sibu. I can’t go very far during weekends (unless there’s a holiday) coz over here in this state, we work on Saturdays too. I’m serious, we work half day on Saturdays. I didn’t have that going on when I was working in KL.
LoonNative: Yeah, now I’m just going to make some ammendments and find a nice UV spot lamination printer with matt background for quality bulk printing.
My real working profession? I’m in Corporate Communications. A&P, Events Management, writing etc. I used to be in the IT line (graduated in computer science) but never really liked being in IT. I prefer my current job.
Darren: Well, the younger generation like us don’t find anything offensive about it, but not everyone is like us. πŸ™‚
WC: Yalor, I’m disappointed too. I wanted to do that but in the interests of maintaining a proper image (not for myself, I don’t care about what people think about me) I have to concede certain things. Oh well. That’s life for you.
Roland: I’ve learnt to live and let live. Live every day as if it’s your very last and find pleasure in the smallest things. Life is too short to moan and whine (although doing that occasionally is perfectly fine). I keep a list of the Good Things (TM) that has happened to me and that keeps me optimistic. πŸ™‚
    essentric: I second that! πŸ™‚
Yeah, it’s nowhere near the pristine beaches of Sabah.
nkwai: I have some nice sunset shots. Will post them up in a later post. I don’t know why the sea water is brown – there is heavy siltation and a lot of mud in the sea.
Elephant show and Brokeback Mountain temporarily not available until the heat from Nicole’s article dies down. πŸ˜‰
anon: Haha! I thought it was pretty funny too, was laughing when Clare mentioned that…twice.
clementwpy: Nope, have been getting a bit of flak lately due to overexposure of my blog in certain environments so I’m staying under the radar at the moment.
    Going into stealth mode. πŸ˜‰
willchua: Haha! Well, you know lar. Flying under the radar at the moment until the heat dies down. πŸ™‚
Don’t liwat me please, it hurts, I know coz I had that done to me when I was in rehab. Oops…did I say that out loud? I’m kidding. πŸ™‚
Choonie: My trademark pic has been deemed inappropriate by the good people over here. It seems that it projects an inappropriate image or something. Oh well. Ohm. Ohm. Ohm. That’s the Buddhist chant to find inner peace. πŸ˜‰
Anyway, I didn’t take any naked photos at the Mukah beach. Perhaps next time. πŸ™‚
suituapui: I was a little bit…less than sober when I was at the beach. πŸ˜‰ Yeah, I behaved myself really well. Role model of the year stuff. πŸ™‚
bb: Thanks buddy! Yeah, I liked the idea of store detective catching me too, I thought that would make a funny photo. Cheers! πŸ™‚
Skwermy: I love the beach too – the sand, the sun, the surf. I just don’t like getting sunburnt. πŸ™‚
Unfortunately, I have been told that pictures of that nature (pun intended) is included in the Not Recommended (TM) list of things so…
Tell you about it when I see you. πŸ™‚
MI!: I wanted to, trust me. I just didn’t coz it would just stir up more shit. Laying low right now. πŸ™‚
Clare: That would be MISTER Bitch to you. πŸ˜‰
cynthia: Well, you can always go to Mt. Buller during winter. That’s where the fun is, and the best thing about Melbourne. Ski resort during winter, beach during summer. πŸ™‚
Wuching: Well, you can always go down when you come back. We’ll make a trip out of it. πŸ™‚
xin: Yeah, it was evening and hardly anyone was at the beach coz it’s admittedly a rather unsavory color. The place we stayed in was a resort with a nice swimming pool, which was where everyone was at.
I like relaxing during the weekends. Very therepeutic. πŸ™‚
