What’s the story?

morning glory

I’m back from Port Dickson! Stayed in a water chalet above the sea, with morning glories adorning the (man-made) beachhead. All in all, it was a pretty chill weekend. πŸ™‚

…and now I’m back at home, playing Spymaster. Crap.

P/S – I just realized I spilled Jack Daniels all over the back seat. It seems that I have neglected to properly cap the damn thing in PD before transporting it back. You probably know how atrocious whisky-on-fabric smells like. Fuck me.

  2. Dude, unlike the premium single barrel, the ole number seven is also used as nail polish remover or wound cleaner.
The spill is a good thing, sanitized the backseat for you. Bet you some fat ass guy have left crusty, dried up brown stain with their wet farts and one of two of your pretty XX chromosome who had a good time, have left some…sticky stuff πŸ™‚

  3. hello: Hello, hello!
cynthia: Haha! I can’t afford a new car. I guess I’ll have to clean the interior…Jesus, the smell of rye when I drove to work this morning. :S
chefmel: Morning Mel! New week. πŸ™‚
cindy khor: Thanks! I’ll be posting about Port Dickson when I get back from work today.
Hmm…I wasn’t drinking JD in the car, I’ve been known to do that, but I wasn’t yesterday. Perhaps I should have coz I’ll have noticed the unscrewed cap. πŸ˜‰
e: Heh! #7 is the available stuff here. I can’t say I’m fond of it though, especially after driving to work in a car that smells like a distillery. πŸ˜‰
ShaolinTiger: Oh, you reminded me, few assassinations before work starts. πŸ˜‰
skittles: Cheers! I thought of that line when I was in PD, looking at the morning glories. πŸ™‚

  4. Baking soda,HB, and and I mean a big box, pour it on, ( yeah, it might remove some of the color, ( hope you aint got a lease- but it could be passed off as normal “wear and tear”. well too late to argure at this point) let it cake up for several hours until crusty( roll the windows down) then remove the crusty stuff, and vacuam. You never fail to amaze me. We are so much alike, yet so different. I went to a cook out this weekend, and someone spilled a high octane beer on the carpet of my car, I got in it Sunday pm, only to meet a cloud of gnats, I mean a swarm, HB. It smelled like a brewery. I rolled down the windows, to get rid of them, said WTF, whats done is done, and bought some ice cream , a pack of smokes ( and yes, 4 beers for myself and the lady) – not perfect, you know) this has been a GOOD day. Wishing you well, HB.

  5. Holy shit, Hb, I did not mean sound soo big brother, or condemnitory. ( is that even a word?) Your pic looks like the little cannals on the sound side of emerald isle NC. A nice place to be. yy sister and her husband own a little place ( a trailer, actually, little more than an old shack) on a place like that. They love it, ands are there most weekends. It is certainly not one on the million dollar homes across the street, on the beach front. But they have meet nice friends there. God bless, and good luck. Tom

  6. one last thing, HB , I gotta agree with “E” . I dont drink or buy any ” hard ” alcohol any more, but I keep a two fiths of whiskey in my house, never opened, way back in the closet. One is JD # 7, and the other is JW, red. I dont drink that stuff any more, but both are only fit for medicinal purposes, or to disinfect your hands. ( To be honest, I would drink the jonnie walker first). But that is easy. My poison of choice was gin. Thats why I dont keep any of it anymore. Too Tempting.

  7. eiling: Haha! It’s looong due. Can you believe that my car HAS NOT BEEN WASHED since Ipoh? I know, it’s disgraceful. πŸ˜‰
Tom Robinson: Hmm…sounds like a great idea! I shall try it. It’s not as bad as a beer spill, beer spills are simply atrocious, what with the yeast and hops.
Yeah, the water chalets at this beach is pretty nice…it has a see through pane on the floor too. I’ll post it up later today when I get home.
You use JD to disinfect your hands? Whatever for?
pm: I didn’t dude, unless you’re the Erimin guy.

  9. HB. No, you got it wrong, and I guess that is MY fault. All I was saying was I would use the JD#7 to disinfect my hands, and any wounds incurred, in a tough situation, but would drink a little of the JW, myself, prior to attempting any emergency medical procedures on myself or another human. Like cleaning a gunshot wound or removing glass shards, etc… Cause of the two, I like JW better. Dutch courage, you know. ( now I have pissed off everyone from Holland). Day to day, I just use plain old cholrine bleach or hydrogen peroxide to wash my hands, and kitchen, after preparing any raw chicken, pork, or beef. I will shut up now, before I get myself in deeper trouble.

I felt like a drink driving home from work but as soon as I got into the car, I didn’t anymore. The smell of whisky totally put me off.
Hmm…I may be on to something here. πŸ˜‰
Iriene: Avillion and Corus are great places! It’s fully booked though so I stayed at Legend Water Chalets. I posted dy. πŸ™‚
Tom Robinson: My bad, I misread your comment. Okay, I know what you mean…ye olde Dutch courage eh?
But yeah, you’re in the service, so betcha seen a lot of gnarly things.
