Jab in the ass

jab in the ass

I have been feeling slightly unwell since yesterday, but dismissed it as a particularly nasty bout of gastric (a decidedly un-masculine affliction) and soldiered on. I am rather puzzled though since I don’t get gastric and it’s never been as bad as this.

I went to see a doctor at the prompting (threat?) of a friend after work last night. I went at about 9 pm, just as the clinic was closing, so the doctor just gave me a perfunctory once over and prescribed some unknown tablets. I felt worse when I woke up this morning – acid reflux and the return of the cursed gastric pains with a Super Size Dose of Nausea (TM) so I quickly wrapped up the urgent stuff that was due at work and went to see a doctor at 10:30 am.

I turns out that I have peptic ulcers. The doctor found out coz I puked when she stuck that ice cream stick thing into my throat and there was blood in the vomit. Thus, she jabbed me in the ass and sent me back home…with a RM 60 bill.

Don’t stick that stick down my throat!

>.<

  1. Damn, the doctor stick a stick down your throat and gave you a jab in the ass.
It’s like doing what they do in Chow Kit, but they get paid and you need to pay!

  2. xSean: Thanks buddy! I will. Been taking the massive amount of pills prescribed religiously. :)
shaoweii: Hahaha! Good analogy, made me LOL. Cheers! :)

  3. Shirley Snow: Thanks! I will. It’s not that bad. Doctor told me to avoid a lot of foods but I don’t really care. ;)
I’m still going to eat as usual. Haha!
Jan: I love injections! Not this kind though, the kind which actually makes you feel good. ;)
…but that’s in the past. Just sayin’

  4. i strangely think having jabs is quite fun? LOL. But, i find it really painful on the ass tho. My last injection was 2 years ago, on the ass and the pain kinda continue on for about a month or so. Kinda felt like the muscle on my ass is aching. :P But, man I love injections! Hahahaha =D

  5. Hey take care of yourself. No more worrying, that what can cause ulcers eh.
What was in the ‘jab’? Anything good? heh heh heh
    ;)

  6. chefmel: A jab in the ass is prob just a deep subcutenous or intramuscular shot. Contrary to popular believe, IM jabs hurt more than IV jabs for some substances (IM ketamine hurts more than IV meth/heroin). Pain is a very subjective matter though, I don’t think it “hurts” per se, it’s just that IM ketamine hurts more than IV meth probably due in a large part to the huge needle. Haha!
But if the pain continues for a month, that’s insane!
ur reader: Thanks! I will. :)
Toxic: Hey there! It’s good to hear from you again. I’m doing good, it’s probably the irregular meals and all the drinking-on-empty-stomach (plus smoking) that I do.
Unfortunately, nothing good in the contents of the syringe…at least not “good” as in the way we take it to mean, but it helped for my ulcers. ;)
Jan: Okay, I shall eat more regular meals now. Thanks! :)

  7. Not surprising considering your lifestyle. Looks like it is your self; the butts and all. Take care of yourself when you are in the big city.

  8. Michael (Mike): Haha! I’m not gonna touch that question with a 10 foot pole. No pun intended. ;)
cynthia: Get well soon Cynthia! I hope you pass through customs.

  9. I luv jab when I am sick coz can cure faster rather than take all those pills :)
HB take care & no spicy food, no alcohol !! hahaha. Get well soon

  10. sylvia: I will! Thanks! :)
TianChad: Yup, I tookd the blood test. No H.pylori. :)
    Just a lifestyle thing.
mars: Yup, but I like taking pills too. Except paracetamol (Panadol). The SMELL of is is enough to make me puke coz I used to take Paralgin Forte (400 mg APAP/ 30 mg codeine) so I got so sick of the powdery smell of Panadol. Urgh, I shouldn’t even think about it when I’ve just eaten. :S
shimmers999: It was taken using a cell phone. I didn’t bring my dSLR coz I was really sick at that time to lug it along. :)
Darren: Haha! Just need to turn backwards. ;)

  11. glad you are feeling better um i guess…. you ok dude? a shot it the ass is painful, Gamma gobulin? I know that hurts, but no worse than a potssimum, KA drip iv anyways, which really hurtts an itiches. Been there done that, otay?. Hell with the swine flu,, I am gonna go get a ham sammich, now. tom ( and a beer too)!

  12. heliobacteria. Look it it up, HB. it resides in the gut. Take some prilosec for three months. it rubs it out. yeh, kind of expensive, but about the cost of a pack of smokes, each day. then you are done with heartbrurn ( not includinding mother in laws or other relatives.) tom

  13. tom r: I’m good buddy, hope you’re doing well too. All the best!
BTW, yeah it is H.pylori, just got medication for it. :)
