snorkeling

This person does not have a PADI license so we can either go for the sea walk (closed) or snorkeling. I have a wealth of underwater photos taken which I’m rather proud of, mostly due to the awesome marine life teaming around the islands of Sabah.

rainbow fish

This rainbow fish is actually quite delicious but it’s off limits – you know the drill, take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints.

coral

I was submerged for a good 45 minutes swimming around and snapping photos of the corals and fishes around them.

marine life

Jerine on the other hand, can’t swim to save her life.

jerine can't swim

The best thing about Sabah is that the aquatic lifeforms is very tame and not afraid of homo sapiens at all.

underwater photos

Hell, some of them even tried to bite my fingers. >.<

I took a lot of underwater videos too – this is the best of the batch. I only have one word to describe snorkeling in Pulau Sapiserene. :)

WEEN: Salt water is nice to soak in though. I love the sea, even the salty tang of the water when you lick your lips. It’s just something very…nature…about the sea. :)

    Nice video!

  15. thatssoron: Yup, I totally agree. The best islands and beaches in Malaysia, IMHO. They have mountains (Mt. Kinabalu), hot springs, beaches, islands, sea. It’s a great place for a vacation. :)
    carrie: Thanks Carrie! :)
Yup, the water there is pristine, you can see the fishes swimming underneath from above!
The fieh even venture into shallow waters and they’re not afriad of people. :)

  17. Dude, my bad, I glanced the pictures really quick and thought that was J’s bushy armpit hair sticking out. At 44 my eyes are going bad…or may be it was an optical illusion after staring at the camel toes for extended period to time..

  18. ahlost: Yeah, I got a waterproof underwater camera just so I can take photos under water. Coz I realized that I drop digicams into water a lot e.g. at Sebangkoi at waterfall etc etc. Haha!
    It’s a good investment. :)
e: Oh, that is my armpit. Haha! Dude you’re 44? Damn I thought you’re 38 or something like that.
Haha! There wasn’t a camel toe, I was there. :)
