Tarot reading

tarot

I was given a proper tarot card reading while having dinner some time ago. I was quite keen to believe and actually thought hard before picking the cards from the deck. Heh!

Check out the 7:54 video (opus?) if you’re so inclined:

The mamak ambience with the tarot cards placed on serviettes on the tables actually added to the experience. πŸ˜‰

Was it accurate?

Maybe si, maybe no.

Shirley Snow: I’m sad to report that the only thing I believe to some degree is not religion but horoscopes. πŸ˜‰
Not the daily readings, just personalities in general.
Vickie: I’ve been to a Chinese medium too but he didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know. πŸ˜‰
bongkersz: Hehe! Not always, just when I’m tired. πŸ™‚

  11. I have a problem with tarrot readers, palm readers, fortune tellers and generally that whole gang. I don’t dare to see them for the fear of getting into a huge argument and start to challenge them in scientific ways. :S

  12. thinking of you , and your familiy a world away, HB. Tell everyone I said ” hey”. Particiular your Dad, Who produced you. Say hello to him for me , for if it wasn’t for him, you would not be here. I would speak to my dad, but he is in the dirt. and once there, it is hard to communicate. So speake to your dad while you can. I know, mine being gone, it is hard to repalce. tom

  14. Yah they pander to human needs and are general enough to be correct much of the time.
Tarot card/fortune tellers/numeroligists are just generally very good character readers and play on that.
Much like horoscopes and zodiac signs, 6 billion people, 12 signs? Work it out.

  17. Tom Robinson: I’m sorry to hear that you’re having a bad week mate. I guess it happens but it still doesn’t make it feel any better.
Hope next week would be a better one for you my friend. πŸ™‚
chefmel: She’s a friend of mine, not a pro tarot card reader. Still has a day job. Heh! πŸ™‚
KY: Yeah, I know what you mean mate. Totally understand. πŸ™‚

pm: hbpoh@hotmail.com but I usually don’t reply MSN messages when I’m at work unless it’s work related. Heavy workload.
Shirley Snow: I don’t read the horoscope daily readings. I believe in the personality traits of the horoscopes and (to a lesser degree) the compatibility between signs. πŸ™‚
ShaolinTiger: Yeah, I understand the concept but I still believe in horoscopes (as in the general personality traits) even though it’s scientifically illogical. πŸ™‚
