Look at my pretty nails!

elianto nails

I was out shopping with Faye in Miri when she came across a shop selling nail polish and other manicure paraphernalia. She’s a big fan of these things and actually considered being a manicurist at one point in her life.

Elianto has a wide range of different nail polish colors and Faye wanted to try them on but she only had 10 fingernails…

…so she started using mine.

I had to rush to Guardian to get a bottle of nail polish remover before going to work the next day.

  1. Yay! First comment, hehe
What a coincidence! I got my nails done yesterday, too! Mine was a gel french manicure, except instead of the usual white and neutral colours, I have bright red nails with jet black square tips. It’s rather difficult to type correctly or write properly because they’re so long and I’m very used to having them trimmed as short as possible. My manicurist was a rather large Viet man and I got him to put a little star jewel on my left index nail, too πŸ™‚

  2. I find it interesting when my girlfriend invests time to paint her nails everyday. Your nails look beautiful. I wouldn’t have the patience to paint my nails on a regular basis.
Is Faye your girl friend? Just curious and ignorant.

  4. liquidblackout: I read this article that the Vietnamese are really good with nails in the US and Canada due to a chance encounter with a film star who taught one of the immigrants how to do nails. Now the Vietnamese are kinda synonymous with manicures. πŸ™‚
JW: You want to be my first client? Me love you long time. RM 500,000 only per hour/shot whichever comes first. HIV testing mandatory. πŸ˜‰
Rufus: I didn’t paint them. Faye did it coz she used up all 10 of her nails.
No, Faye isn’t my girlfriend. She’s just a good friend of mine. We kinda hang out together but we’re DEFINATELY not a couple.
Darren: Haha! Yeah, I didn’t even have time to remove them until the flight home and I had to rush to Guardian before they close to get a bottle of nail polish remover.
fish fish: Hmm…I kinda like the nail polish too but it’s strongly discouraged at my workplace. It’s in the dress code. I’m not even supposed to have tattoos or a tongue piercing but both are not visible so it’s tolerated.
cynthia: Yeah, I’ve seen people do that when they’re stressed. I personally can’t do it. Cuticles tastes really strange to me, I can’t stand to chew my own nails. To each his/her own, I guess. πŸ™‚

  5. Your nails remind me of Dexter, a series shown in the States. The ice truck killer chopped off the protitute’s arms and froze them in a giant ice cube, where her fingers were all painted like your nails :p

  6. evil feline: Eliento has an outlet in Sibu as well. Saw it just the other day at Delta Mall. I used to color my nails when I was 15 (wanted to be different back then) but hmm…it’s kinda frowned upon in my work environment and I think it looks less-than-heterosexual personally. πŸ˜‰
sal: Hey, let’s meet up next time I go to Miri. It’ll be fun. πŸ™‚
babycicak: She likes a lot of color. I like purple. Get a purple one for your gf. Purple looks good on a lot of girls.
CarolineL: It’s a good thing I’m not a prostitute then…or living in the states. I shall be extra careful when I see those ice trucks going by though. πŸ˜‰
jessy: No, he’s not. I’ll be avoiding ice trucks like the plague from now on. πŸ˜‰
Junkie: she’s not my FB/FWB. She’s just a friend. I’m not against people with fuck partners though. It’s quite common nowadays, me thinks. Sex is “gross”? You’re not using your mom’s PC when she’s out without her permission are you? πŸ˜‰
Psssttt…the babysitter is coming, she’s behind you!
