Everyone, I present: My new BLOUSE

kl g2k

Clerk: 1 trousers, 2 blouses?
Me: Shirts man, I don’t buy blouses for myself.

I guess you just had to be there. It was so funny, the confounded look on his face. This is G2000 men (note my emphasis). He didn’t quite get me and went on about blouses again.

I cracked up and couldn’t help but laugh when he used the word again to the guy behind me, who narrowed his eyes at the clerk.

Terminology FAIL. πŸ™‚

I ended up getting two shirts and a pair of pants so I guess they had the last laugh since I spent RM 400+ on office attire at their outlet last night.

I also dropped by Cititel where my parents are staying and caught up with them over drinks. I like talking to my dad, he always has an inspirational quote on hand (invariably Christian, but an inspiring quote is still an inspiring quote). His quote for last night was:

kl mom dad

Not coz we’re worthy, not coz we’ve done good deeds but coz JC has paid for our sins.

I needed that inspiring quote coz my credit card bounced when I paid for the drinks. Fuck la, I just paid about 4k last week. I think it’s the notebook (not the paper kind) and the G2k stuff I got last night. I shudder to look at my credit card statement.

Someone get me a chair before I do that. I need to be sitting down.

  3. HB, I thought you only get con by overpriced food, bloody hell, you get con in overpriced clothes too, but hey, live it up while you are young, right?
Oh by the way, saw an old post yesterday, a steak and bearnaise sauce but the photo doesn’t match. BS is yellow, not brown. Poor HB, been ripped off by dodgy food operators.

  4. ahh, I always like your writting, HB. I have slow, dial up here in a pretty remote cove in western NC, US. no cell, either. man, how can you live like that? well, I am not so important. dont have to be in touch all the time. Its pretty nice, to be honest. I still don’t have a cell phone here. what is the point? when I travel, I get the disposable kind, just to quiet my sister. she is 10 years older than I, at age 60. hard to belive. Our Mom and Dad gone. She has four kids. uugh, also 16 grandchildren. my Dad was from here, my Mom from Bristol, England. Met during ww2 I was kind of a mistake. born in 1960 and i am glad I did I know it sounds selfish, but I’ m glad abortion was illeage then. To enncapsulate a life time in a few words is tough… but your Dad said it right… My sister works for the salvation army, and me, well… already been a military officer.. boy scout leader, church youth leader but at age 50 , to go to seminary? no way… still you never know… I was supposed to be dead in in 1998. your dad and mom are right… only cause Jesus Christ picked up that debt. not cause he had too, cause he wanted to, ok? they sound teriffic. now help me brush on my french and german yeah, i know, we all look the same to you… WELL, caint tell… but I know when I meet one… tis in the heart…

  5. Hohoho! Time to increase your credit card limit. I tend to overspend on credit cards due to my impulsive purchases. T_T Now I’m refraining myself from using it other than for essential items(my priority may differ πŸ˜‰ )

Yeah, I totally agree with you about the Jesus Christ thing, it’s been keeping me in a good mood the entire day too, though I think there’s some teachings which say Satan would LOVE to tempt you when you take a step towards Christ. I’m feeling that today. Big time.
    Be well, my friend. πŸ™‚
Cheers: Haha! That would be a collosally bad idea. πŸ™‚
My credit limit is quite high already, and if it’s higher, I’m concerned about the debt I run up. The notebook and clothes aren’t impulse buys though, I needed them. πŸ™‚

If you are chuting in, do you want a tree trunk or limb right up the leg hole of your pants? you use whatever is handy, like well, condoms. but also, a battle blose ok. well, the brits used that terminology. but it would be like someone saying to me, hey get your kit on… well ok…. well, an Ike jacket??? which I can no longer fit into anyways… .
