HOLD ON TO YOUR PANTS LADIES!!!
(and gentlemen)
Spotted at a JB toilet. It basically says “Beware – Thief. Don’t hang your pants here. Thanks.”.
Surreal. In other news we’re staying at Zon Regency Hotel by the sea and Gods be good it’s a duty free haven.
I can’t say much about the quality of food (it’s alright but nothing to write home about – wait till my next post for an awesome JB specialty). However, it IS exactly like the photo in the menu so no one can say that it’s false advertising.
The best thing however is the ambience – it’s al fresco dining beside the sea…and yes, you can see Singapore yonder.
…and the alcohol? Duty free prices baby. 😀
Makes sense, because Johorians are generally messed up and will steal anything bwhaahaha.
Actually I’ve thought about it before, because you’ll have your wallet and phones in your pants pocket so people might steal it.
Hey, now that actually makes a lot of sense bro. The wallet and cell phone in pants thing, plus you can’t chase after someone pant-less.
…but I was thinking…who takes off and HANGS their pants in the toilet?
Why would anyone need to do that? 😡
Langkawi is still cheaper bro!!!
Yup, the prices are slightly marked up for profit.
However the prices for alcohol in the duty free zone in JB is still very cheap compared to KL and other places in JB.
That’s probably why there are so many clubs and pubs in the zone and people go there to drink.
The only restriction is that you cannot bring alcohol OUT – you have to consume in there. 🙂
errr what’s that one plate? can’t tell what it is from how it looks.
It’s rice vermicelli bro.
It looks exactly like the photo in the menu – flat like an omelet and I was wondering how it tastes. 🙂
jn alot of specialty…go for famous curry fishead at jalan Wong Ah Fook near JB custom…how long u will be staying in JB?
Yup we did! 🙂
That was the first thing we ate in JB. Went to the famous Wong Ah Fook curry fish head.
It’s really good.
LOL, silliest sign ever! Duty free is aways a sight for sore eyes.. yay!
Haha! Ya that sign was hilarious.
…and although they say you can’t bring out the duty free stuff right, the guards at the gates never check also, just waved our car through.
I imagine you can buy duty free and bring it out if you want. 🙂
