Just paste the link of the post and your name (with a valid email address) into the comment box and you stand to win:
1 x Steamboat Set Meal for two (2) worth RM 150
There are three (3) of these to be given out and you have to collect the vouchers at Coca Restaurant, 1 Utama. However, you can opt to either dine at the outlet in 1U or Subang Parade.

Good luck!
Gong Xi Fa Chai from sixthseal.com and Coca Restaurant!
EH? I can give you a comment. I don’t know loh. never ate before. Gimme the tix and I can give you a proper one =P
yaa same here, i never ate coca steamboat before…
u gimme the vouchers, then i blog about my experience (=
same here, never tried it before. but would love to pay a visit there if i’m one of the lucky ones XD
If i’ve a chance, of course i wanna try coca steamboat.. I wanna go there to GOng Xi GOng XI Coca with my family
i’ve never tried to dine in Coca, one of the most important reason is its price..i’m not a big-spender on expensive food but i don’t mind if i were to win this set meal voucher..LOL 😛
hmm, if should be either Subang Parade or Sunway Pyramid …
I would love to dine at Coca Sunway Parade. Never been to Sunway Parade. Would love to know where is Coca, Sunway Parade. Thanks.
I think the restaurant’s name sucks.
*hopes to win voucher*
That’s constructive… :D?
Got such thing as sunway parade ah? Far as I know, there is one in Subang Parade, which has been there for a long while and there used to be one in Sunway Pyramid. The space is now occupied by Sushi Zanmai and Zen.
Been there a few times. The best thing about COCA is definitely the special chili sauce. Sweet, spicy, tangy, laced with sesame seeds and chopped coriander. Everything else doesn’t matter that much anymore.
Not a big fan of seafood like me?
The chili sauce makes you wolf it down. No smell. No nothing. Just wonderful wonderful COCA chili sauce.
Clichéd but, often imitated, never duplicated.
Trust me.
The seafood and all. They’re ok la. Like I said, not a big fan.
Oh oh oh. Make sure you order a pomfret. They’ll slice up the flesh and use the carcass as the stock enhancer. That makes the final steamboat ritual of noodle cooking soooooo much better.
If all else fail. Ask for more chili sauce.
Heh.
Good enough ah? Since I am the first to give a comment review thingy here. Consider a bit la k?
Thanks HB. If you’re still broke for the month we can go split the voucher. My gf just left the cuntree.
criticism? too expensive. cannot go all the time.
steamboat… nice!!
COCA GONG XI Giveaway ????
wow! that would be nice….
heard a lot about this coca restaurant from friends, but have never been there….
it would be definitely be wonderful if i could visit coca during this gong xi holidays to try out their seafood & steamboat….
ok let’s try this and see if HB still remember.
Coca Steamboat “gourmet” hot pot, a perfect hangout for all pseudo intellectual pretentious fucks =P
(actually that could score better if it was for Starbucks)
i had my first (and tentatively the last) meal in coca steamboat six years ago up in genting whilst i was having a massive food poisoning (not in relation to coca as i had it the night before). needless to say, the food at coca tasted horrible as a result of my condition and hence i have always assumed that the food there isn’t so great…
may be this would be a perfect opportunity to change my opinion perhaps?
Well the first thing I thought of, and I’m sure many others would have thought the same thing, is that the name Coca has something to do with a plant in the family Erythroxylaceae, native to north-western South America.
sunway parade? not subang parade meh? i’ve never eat in coca before. coz i dun like thai food
am so sleepy now, need to get an eye shut, will read about it tomorrow 😛
HB,
Why Southeast Asian call it steamboat while in states and Hong Kong and Taiwan called it HotPot?
I been trying to find out in web but so far nothing.
Mine mine…!
the prawns are huge! looks tantalising. please give me the coupons… thanks!

Second one has higher chance of winning. Winners will be chosen by Coca based on random.org number generator and 3 x RM 150 vouchers for two would be given out. I’ll announce the winners here.

Give me 1 Coca steamboat set meal & 1 Coca-Cola!
It always give me an impression that they include some Yayo in their steamboat.
Too bad never tried one myself.
I don’t want to end up holding a fork and shouting to the restaurant, “Every one meet my new friend!”
never tried before. please gimme the coupons so i can go try it out. 🙂
Coca is my family favourite steamboat place. Every year we will have our reunion in Coca without fail. I hope I can win the set meal this time.

hmmm..
i dunno…but if its free why not? ;p
i wanttttttttttttttttttttttt
Never been there before.
Only know it is very expensive!!
Prosperity God gives me the tix, wink.
I’ve been following your blog for quite some time. I’m finally back to KL for 2 weeks. Hoping to have a meet up with a few bloggers. Are you up to it? My temp. number is 017 2240 628. Ta.
since i’m too late for it, i shall wait for an EXCLUSIVE invitation from Mr 6th Seal instead. hahaha!!! =P
Its the chili sauce thats kicking….All others are like other shops, basically what all of us would get when we go makan at steam boat restaurants, and mayb bcos the the name, COCA, like ada class, bcos it makes a lubang in your pocket…..
Well, I think the restaurant is quite upper class for steamboat IMHO.
That’s why I don’t eat there often.. so I do hope I would win.
Haha! You very smart. 😉
Anyway, you’re not too late, this contest is going to be chosen by Coca based on random.org – a random number generator, not who comments first.
But yeah, if you don’t get it, I’ll bring you there since I have the RM 150 voucher for two myself. 🙂
wow! just what i needed for my next KL trip! Prawns and hot soup! Yehhhaaaa~
Wow, the steamboat looks spicy!
Well, the price is too expensive and unaffordable for a student.. (poor~~)
nvr tried that before..anyhow, rm75 per person is kinda expensive for a student. That is when other steamboat restaurant is making big bucks by set rm25 per person. However, looking the quality of the steamboat through the pics, it seem gd enough to make one drool especially da fat juicy prawn boiling in the tom yam paste soup.. Anyhow, this is just the 1st impression when looking at it
HB, ribena results out.
hey huai bin!! coolies!! finally got to meet you in person just now at cineleisure!! haha… have fun in mdg closed audition ya!! LOL =D shall for you to update in the blog!!
the first time i saw coca signboard , nv thought its a steamboat place to go .still can figure how the name coca link to steamboat???????looks cool on ur dslr cinplex…wanna have 1 but too bad cant afford to…
If i’ve a chance, would love to try it !

One more day to go and 3 permalinks to date. There’s still a chance for you to win. Coca will choose the winners using a random number generator so it’s not first come first serve (win?). You might still win the RM 150 voucher yet. 🙂
There’s 3 to give out.
Coca Restaurant in my memory is quite affordable.
I love steamboats at Coca restaurant. Very nice settings and selections
Went steamboat buffet dinner at Coca couple of weeks before. A lot of people so please book 1st.
Love their Thai-style Steamboat but too bad no pork served because it is halal. Or is it non-halal now? hmm..
http://www.itechblog.com/2009/01/21/sixthseal-coca-steamboat-set-meal-giveaway/
OMG, am i too late for this? I love steamboat so this Coco restaurant set meal giveaway sure is interesting…pick me!
It is very nice of Coca restaurant to giving out free voucher, good news for us lar.. bad economy so less eating out now… anyway their seafood is quite nice, fresh and many variety…
Coca restaurant is actually quite wellknown for the steamboat buffet but the price is err.. above average i would say..
been to Coca several times. service is acceptable but not exceptional. tom yam soup tastes great. sometimes the ingredients for the steamboat look dry, like they have been cut and prepared hours and hours ago.
suggestion, offer kimchee flavoured steamboat. like “nabe” style.
The lighting in the restaurant is quite dark. Why not install some better quality lighting which will bring out the colour of the steamboat, and make the food more delicious-looking?
