Malaysian Dream Girl is back! The MDG 2 Closed Auditions were held today and I dropped by Tune Hotel to rendezvous with Jerad of Capxion Media and the 25 short listed candidates. That is Dawn pimping my blogger card – I think a lot of people are rooting for her. π The girls were checking into the hotel before heading to Capxion Media’s studio for the Final 12 to be chosen.
I ended up driving 4 of the MDG 2 candidates and nearly got horrible lost, if not for Jerad being kind enough to stop by the roadside to allow me to tailgate the entourage. I keep on forgetting to get a Touch n’Go card and I’m always last out of the tollbooth coz I had to use the cash lane. Debra was there to cover the MDG 2 closed auditions as well.

I went to MDG 2 closed auditions coz it was late when I came back from getting my MyKad from Putrajaya – it was around 4 pm dy.
I gotta presentation tomorrow so I’m going to work but am taking 1/2 day off to cover MDG 2 (second half).
Honesty being the best policy and all. :p

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
