I just got a package from Daniel [geocities.com]. Seeing as to how Singapore is one of the SARS affected countries [moh.gov.sg], I took appropriate safety measures before opening the envelope. Haha! Just kidding.
It’s a Revolver Worldwide magazine. That’s Jenna Jameson on the
cover. I found the Nirvana article very interesting and I particularly
enjoyed the stoner ads at the back. Heh. Thanks for the birthday gift

It seems that two people who went to the Engineering Ball last week got meningococcal disease
which is a form of meningitis [WebMD]. It’s curious
that meningitis is so prevalent in Australia and NZ but I’ve hardly ever heard about it in
Malaysia. It seems that all outdoor hot springs here have warnings not to submerse your head
into the water to avoid getting meningitis. Anyway if you’re too lazy to click on the WebMD
link, meningitis is an infection of the brain which can be fatal. Apparently the bacterial form
is more dangerous than the viral one.
