KFC vouchers

kfc sibu

I went to KFC last night with Faye and the mysterious child of unknown origin (TM). This is the only 24 hour KFC in Sibu.

kfc voucher

I had been given a RM 10 and RM 5 voucher courtesy of the social club of the company that I work in. It seems that KFC is giving out vouchers to company affiliated clubs to distribute out to their members – we get ours during birthdays.

kfc counter

I haven’t had the chance to use it since I got it early this month so I decided to eat there last night.

kfc food

We got an X-Meal (Zinger), 3 pieces of chicken, cheesy wedges and a couple of sodas. My notorious appetite seem to have left me coz it felt like it’s a little too much for supper for 2 adults and a 10 year old. 🙂

I am still having the sniffles from plucking out my nasal hair a couple of days back…

  1. fred: hmm…no comment. 😉
wilson: haha! that would make the child 2 years old, not 10. for her to be 10 i’ll have to have fathered her when i was 17, and that is impossible considering i only lost my virginity when i was 25. 🙂
fyi, i lost it to cherie. OMG, i can’t believe i said that. perhaps i’ve had too much to drink.
    please ignore the above.
Roland: heh! do i look like that kind of person to you? 😉
i’m not into marrying in. i prefer to have my own genes in the offspring i produce. 🙂

honestly though, KFC is the best franchise there is. “It’s fuckin’ good” as the Colonel would say.

  5. JW: hmm…i’ve never had a KFC product that is truly spicy, not even hot & spicy chicken. perhaps the spiciness has been toned down for mass appeal. 🙂
thanks buddy, i’m glad you liked it.
Crunk Juice: haha! well, i was kidding about the losing virginity part. i lost it at the tender age of 15. cherie was one of the more memorable partners though. 🙂
and interesting observation there, a lot of my friends have been telling me the same thing (about settling down). perhaps i am ready to do just that.
liquidblackout: oh okay. cheers for that! 🙂
it is lodged in memory from all the NASA movies i have watched. good luck and godspeed.

  6. Paul: it’s very interesting how they still serve using silverware over here. i noticed that the steel forks and spoons have been done away with in larger cities.
    probably due to pilferage…

  7. Good points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t comment to blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very becoming to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault in the least , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy reading the content .

  10. So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
