I just spent a lazy Saturday afternoon watching movies on DVD. I’ve not been to the cinema lately and have been trying to catch up on the latest movies from the friendly neighborhood (copyright infringement) DVD peddler. I made burgers with a twist (cooking post up soon) for lunch and we caught Mamma Mia (an enjoyable feel good movie if you like musicals and ABBA) and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan (typical cheesy Adam Sandler stuff, but has its laugh out loud moments).
Anyway, I’m taking a break today since my higher cerebral functions have been diminished due to an excess of ethanol consumption last night. sixthseal.com will be back with two verbose and photo/video filled posts tomorrow, so in the meantime, entertain yourself with these selected HDS posts (which is something I haven’t been slacking on ;)):

Eh, eat like that won’t become fat pig meh? High carbo high fat and low fiber… Unless you guys have a hard fxxk after the heavy meal lor.
The way I plan a relaxing afternoon like you get some good dvds and day before some dim sum and pizzas, soft drinks, chips (must not forget chips) sweet snacks too. Make sure not to cook just microwave whatever needed. That what I called a relaxing afternoon.
Dude Man, you like those kinds of films? Well guess what SO DO I! I love musicals since study music since child. I jam with my homeboys in New Age Rock and Heavy Metal. On a somewhat quiet afternoon I would make some nacho, and bufflao wings, some beers, soft drinks, other snacks and all set for crashing on my couch to see flicks.
HB, what a wonderful ideal which I been so busy at time forget what it like to just chill at home with some dvds and easy food to enjoy. Better get some microwave foods and drinks and snacks to ready for that afternoon enjoyment. Oh yeah check out Blockbuster for DVDs.
Yo Man dude, hey I have not done that for so long I can’nt remember. Will try by starting out with what to kind of grubs to eat and drinks. Thinking of Kung Fu flicks so what else? Chinese foods like some chow mein, dim sums, bar b q porkribs is good. Potstickers sound good too. I like some ice cream too. Let see oh yeah chips to coachpotato with .
Dude man it so long ago I forgot what it like to enjoy a afternoon at home. With my kung fu class and jogging workout not much time. But now rain season coming so good reason. Check my kitchen seeing it need shopping. Food for everyday and special food for weekend. Plan a big pot of chicken curry and rice and snacks, drinks in orders dvds flicks. Now ready to crash.
Yeah dude, chilling with some good dvds and food and no cooking just zap it. I load up on zap foods and paper plates and cups lazy day for me. Drinks, some chinese foods takeout of course. I love char siu baos so get some too.
I haven’t watched a cinema movie for a really long time. Only tv movies but not often too.
I planed my free day off by doing all household works, grocery shopping days before. Making sure to have right amount of food and such. If I to watch flicks I see what kind of food to have for that day. Love dim sums and sushis along with Chinese fried chicken. Sodas and potato chips is a must. Sweet snacks on hand all set to relax.
Choonie: Indeed…relaxing, watching movies and just chilling out with a loved one. π
vincent: You know, I’ve never liked the High School Musical series. I find it very stereotypical and boring. Mamma Mia is great though. π
The Bull: It’s in the process, my friend. Planning a lot of stuff right now, and work is swamping my free time so I’ll get to you soon. Cheers mate! π
Have a great week up ahead and take care!
Dr Fit: Hmm…she’s very, very thin and I’m a little bit fat (well, I have a bit of a potbelly, which comes and goes), but not obese. I attribute it to high metabolism rates.
Amy: We were planning to do the dim sum thing too. π
Just get a lot of packaged dim sum from the mall and steam it at home, it’s easy and we can watch movies the entire day.
Ricky: Hey, that sounds like the life mate. I’ve not been chilling at home for a long time now, and I should be getting more of that. It’s very relaxing. π
Vickie: Yeah, I’ve been going out too often too that I forgot how relaxing it is to just stay back at home with a loved one and watch movies in peace.
Edward: It is healthy to be a couch potato once in a while. π
I’ve not done this for a very long time too, so it’s fun.
Michale: Indeed, most of us have been going out weekends that it’s been so long since we’ve just hung out at home to chill. It’s nice. π
Tyler: Well, I like to cook when I’m free, so it’s fun for me. π
But yeah, if I was alone, I would have just gotten takeout and lounged at the couch while watching DVDs.
Pixeldoll: I used to watch almost every single movie that comes out in the cinema, but have not been doing that lately, so I’m catching up with DVDs.
Shelly: Sounds like fun, Shelly! π
I don’t know why, I only eat either real food (dim sum, sushi, Chinese takeout) or snacks (potato chips, crisps, chocolate) but not both. It’s usually the former coz it’s more filling. π
