I won a Sony LCD TV from Sony Style. It’s from this contest the good people at Sony entered for me when I purchased my dSLR. The lucky draw gift I snagged is the KLV-20S400A BRAVIA LCD TV. It retails for RM 1,799 and it’s a flat, compact LCD TV which you can also use as a monitor. Check out the specs here. It’s brand new (just picked it up last Sunday) and unopened and comes with the full Sony warranty.
I need cold, hard cash more than a TV to get through the month (please refer to previous post) so I’m planning to sell it. I’ll let it go for RM 1,300 (RM 500 cheaper than retail) but before I list it on Mudah.my I’ll give anyone who reads my blog the opportunity to purchase it for RM 1,200.
Email me if you’re interested. I’ll even cut a deal with you for more discounts if you’re a blogger (Terms & Conditions apply of course ;)).
congrats!!! guess now u dont have to live on bread and butter anymore π
You lucky bastard! Haha
Wah so lucky!!! How come I never win anything… ishk…
u r so lucky to win that TV. i never win anything in contest or lucky draw:(

Hope Huai Bin can spread some luckiness to me ;p
Congratz and hope u got the cash asap~
heaven: Yeah, if I manage to sell it in this month. π
shaoweii: Haha! Lucky and unlucky at the same time. Lost 5.3 in Genting, won a TV and a cell phone. π
YilingL: I never win anything too – it just so happens the Sony Style people were kind enough to enter the contest for me. I’m quite impatient one, I don’t like filling out forms. π
Anthea: Thanks Anthea! π
Yeah, I need to sell it this month so I don’t have to eat bread everyday. I’m getting rather sick of it, to be honest.
lev: Europe? I can, but shipping and taxes and customs would be a hassle won’t it?
But in Europe, I can offer you a VERY good price (tell you if you email me) in exchange for other stuff (chocolates). π
cindy: Yeah, very lucky indeed! I won a cell phone too, awesome-ness. π
Tian Chad: Heh! Here at sixthseal.com, we ALWAYS aim to please. Expect something special on the 19th of April (my blog anniversary – 7 years of blogging). π
I am interested provided you can ship it to Kuching.
Choonie: Hmm…shipping costs quite jia lat wor.
I’ll try okay? Email me, special price. :p
Lelong lelong! =)
I dont need FB reminder to tell that 19th April is sixthseal dot com anniversary btw. x
wah too bad u’re in KL. Shipping to Kuching will be too much of a hassle but if you’re in Kuching my dad would be VERY interested!
you won a cell phone too? Selling it too? :p
wow, how lucky…
Dude, I’d have bought it just to get you out of slumming it, plus I’m looking for a new TV anyway, but c’mon that thing is TINY!!!!
It’s only 20 inches………no offence mate but you’d need a magnifying glass to see the pics!!
Long time reader since the old (and waaaay wilder sixthseal back in 2004/05). Shocking that you’re staying so near me now (living in Tmn Megah, SS24 for the last 20 years)!
If I ever see you in KJ, I’ll buy you lunch – I owe you at least that for saving me a number of bad E trips during my raving days back in the UK in ’04. Your “guides” were handy to say the least. Sadly, I’m “retired” from the scene now, so I guess the both of us are just boring old codgers waiting to procreate and then die! LOL. π
Lucky bugger, I reckon you’ll have trouble selling it though. Can get an equivalent Sharp set for RM900 or a Samsung 24″ computer LCD for RM1150.
Try LowYat and Lelong though, Mudah is plagued by spammers and scammers.
I tried to sell something there and got 10,000 nigerian spam mails.
cynthia: I love you Cynthia! π
You’ve been with sixthseal.com for a long time and you even remember the anniversary. Much love!
chefmel: Hmm…I can ship to Kuching, and at a special rate too. Email me.
Yup, I’m selling the cell phone too – will post it up when I get it. π
Jys: Indeed! Especially considering I didn’t even enter the contest. I remember going there with Zoe and we left and asked the people at Sony Style to fill in the contest form for me. They actually did and I actually won! π
veddder: Yeah, I get your point. Plus point is that it has a very small footprint, HD capable, can be used as a monitor and it looks pretty high res at the showroom. π
Cheers mate! I’m glad I at least helped someone with my guides on recreational drug use.
Yeah, we’re old farts now, long retired from the drug scene. But we can still have lunch or dinner. π
I live really close to you, not at liberty to say where in the comments but email me and I’ll tell you.
ShaolinTiger: Thanks for the tip, G! π
I shall try all three forums. It’s Sony so there’s a price premium on that. I’ll try to sell it cheaper though coz I really need the cash this month.
Congratulations – winning the contest looks to be an auspicious sign, if you believe there is an order to things. Even if you get a rapid windfall from the sale of the tv, I hope you consider sticking to your frugality plan – or at least sticking to the spirit of the plan. Lower consumption (pulling away from consumerism in general) adds more to life, imho. So many blogs are about “things I bought” or “places I went” or other consumerist drivel, but the best blogs (yours most certainly among them) are interesting because they convey a sense of the complex person behind the blogs rather than simply relating details of experience. Sixth Seal entries are imbued with a sense of who you are, and it comes across in a personal, compelling and honest manner that resonates with readers – that’s why your blog is a must read for me. Oh, I guess I went on a bit, just wanted to say congratulations!
Congratulations! Your looking healthy btw.. a glow in your smile π
kongratulasi dude..
HB, it great you won that tv but sad you sold it for cash needed. All I ever won was a trip to Disneyland and Universal Studio and a Apple computer. That when I was a kid. It was really my mom who enter my name in contest. Mom own hobby in entering contests. Knowing the odd and prizes giving.
She won in past trip to Hawaii and stay in very nice hotel also. Disneyland and Universal trips got food coupons car rental and nice hotels and to parks too. Hope you enter more contests it can be lot of fun.
lelong.com.my is highly recommended. My bf get cons many times from mudah.com
LOL you are in desperate situation…i give you USD100 π for it
I bought a 32″ for USD$359. I guess it’s way cheaper across the pacific eh
omg you really do have luck dont you π
I am kind of interested, but to germany is pretty far
and i would like to buy a car when i get my driving license in a few month
so I probably shouldnt buy a TV right now
“best price” hahaha
RM 888!!?? π
Congrats! What phone did you win? Dun remember that…
Try Lowyat, it was recommended to me and worked well. Lelong took three days to list my item and it was already sold by then…
Agree with John re consumerism and all that – life can be much better when we don’t worry too much about having the latest gadget, or drinking at the most expensive bar π
HB, what brand of phone did u win ?
Real lucky dude!! Congrats .. Hope you find buyer soon.
Too bad I’m low on cash too, if not I’ll buy it from you.
John: Thanks John! I appreciate the kind comments and I will of course continue my frugality drive (or Project MISER II).
I’m 28. I need to plan to purchase a house of my own. I just got news that the landlord is taking back the condo on 27th May so I gotta move out before then.
Jeff: Cheers mate! I am feeling healthier too, since I quit drinking every day. π
Yatz: Cheers Yatz! π
Vickie: Yeah, unfortunately I’m short on cash this month so I need to sell it. I need to move by end of next month as well, so cash is always welcome in periods like this. π
ruby: Okay, I shall try all sites. π
Thanks! I’m doing Cash On Delivery (or pick up rather, I can’t deliver due to my work schedule) so chances of being conned is little to slim. π
Paul: Haha! I can’t sell it that low mate. I might as well just use it myself if I’m letting it go for USD 100. π
shadowking: Yeah, this is the end to my streak of bad luck. I had a really bad streak of luck earlier this year. I guess Lady Luck is not pissed off at me anymore. π
Germany would be too far to send to, mate. π
Good luck with your car!
yapthomas: OMG! RM 888? I can’t la. Haha! I need the money to move next month. π
julian: Yup, but I can’t remember the cell phone model number. I’ll check it later.
Yeah, a simple life would save a lot of money. π
sylvia: I can’t remember. I shall email you when I check tonight. π
Iris: Thanks mate! I need the money to move condo. π
Simon Seow: Cheers for the offer! Yeah, bad year for me too. :S
So HB, have you decided where to stay after 27 May?
It is indeed you bd month, got free gift somemore from lucky draw. π
hope you manage to sell it. If it’s a 42 inch one, i might consider! Lol..
haha, sell those lcd and eat nasi lemak for breakfast for 30 days…
What’s the size in “?
fish fish: Nochet. π
Unfortunately, I still haven’t found a place yet…and I need to sort out some matters tomorrow before moving. Damn landlord is like so nice to me now. Hmph.
eiling: Haha! You like large ones eh? Not very much into smaller inches? π
Mr.s: I am selling it. π
erin: It’s 20″, check out the specs in the link provided. π
lucky u dude.
Thereβs so much buzz thatβs been doing the rounds about the electronics market and electronics fair at the Great Singapore Sale- 2009.
Infact, Iβve planned a holiday to Singapore and will be flying there in another two days from now! π Iβm planning to check out the latest range of Mac Computers, software applications, accessories, gizmos, games, iPods and iPhones and definitely plan to pick up the the classiest gadget Iβve been eyeing on the net since quite some time. Any guesses? Iβm talking about the latest IPhone Touch 8G! Thanks to wide-scale marketing, heavy discounts and promotional offers, I think I can even afford to actually buy the iPod Touch 8G, which is up on a flat 50% off offer. Then, I will be the proud owner and actually in quite literal terms a father of one! π
I once handled one at an Apple store and I seriously couldnβt get my hands off it. Smooth surface, finest and highly responsive touch experience, great e-book reader and at a price so much lower than the market price, if not anything else I should definitely go for this one!
The excitement and thrill is much more than I can contain, as I also plan to check out the latest features- extended downloadable apps, increased productivity software and converter tools, which Iβve heard would be out in international markets by June.
The latest iPhone is also rumored to have cheaper data plans and I will avail that from my Tourist Privilege Card! What fun! I think Iβm also going to use it to purchase the Canon DVD camcorder at half its market price. Till a few days ago, I could say that the countdown has begun, but now every moment seems like eternity, until I step foot thereβ¦hailβ¦Singaporeβ¦here I come! π
Nice! I won a sony bravia but it got delivered broken. I have pics on my blog. kingoffreestuff.blogspot.com At least yours is working!
Myhorng: Yeah, damn lucky bro. π
Tom: Alas! Hope you got a refund for that. π
http://naturalhealthontheweb.com/forum/member.php?action=profile&uid=1494 Thanks for that awesome posting. It saved MUCH time π
Iβd be inclined to clinch the deal with you here. Which is not something I usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to speak my mind!

Hello. This article was really remarkable, especially since I was searching for thoughts on this issue last Thursday.
http://kathrinejinkins2.maydee.info/2010/10/17/tips-for-losing-love-handles/ Thanks for that awesome posting. It saved MUCH time π
I simply found your internet website many days ago and i have been reading through it frequently. you have got a good range of useful data on the site and
most broadband services are crappy, they cant maintain high data transfer rates
