Sheeple

sheeple

Sheeple is a concatenation of the words “sheep” and “people”. It’s used derogatorily to describe people who follow without questioning. Are you a person or are you sheeple? Do you lead, or do you follow? Are you a trendsetter or a trend follower?

customize

I always do my own thing coz I don’t like following. I would rather get lost leading than follow blindly. Lao-tzu once said “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step“. I am no guru (Pitka), but I am here to help you take that first step to reclaim your identity and find your true self…

…by showing you how I snack on Corntoz. πŸ˜‰

It requires one (1) Ramly burger, one (1) 60g pack of Corntoz and a lot of tissues (coz eating Ramly burgers is messy business). This heretical act to the great Malaysian institution of Ramly burger might be frowned upon by the orthodox community, but hey, who cares? πŸ˜‰

express

The Corntoz Express Yourself campaign is giving you the opportunity to share with the world how you snack on Corntoz in your own unique way. It may be ugly, but hey, it’s who you are!

corntoz mini

Joining the contest is fun and easy. It’s also your ticket to the two tempting T’s – Fame and Fortune! Got your attention? Good. I shall break it down to two simple steps:

1. Get a pack of Corntoz 60g from any hypermarket or convenience store.
2. Go to www.corntoz.com.my and record/upload your own video of how you snack on Corntoz.

webcam

You can record your own video right on the website if you have a webcam – it auto detects your gear and you can even add layers and other fun stuff to your video to pimp it up. You can also opt to upload it to YouTube and submit it on the Corntoz website.

upload

The top video will snag the grand prize of RM 8,000 and your homemade video will also be aired on nationwide television (!). The second prize will bag RM 5,000 and the third prize walks away with a cool RM 2,000. Not too shabby eh?

Also, check out the celebrity videos on the Corntoz site:

Jaclyn Victor – Malaysian Idol winner (First Season)
Faizal Tahir – Runner up of One in a Million and a famous singer in his own right
Stacy – Akademi Fantasia Season 6 winner
Nabil – Raja Lawak Astro Season 2
Ajieb – Host on Murai, Editor of Murai
Huai Bin – Blogger on sixthseal.com
(I’m kidding about the last one, but my video is inside :p)

You like snacking on Corntoz while reading a good book in the toilet? Hey, no problem. I’ve got nothing against enhancing the flavor of Corntoz with some olfactory stimulation. Just remember to flush after you’re done.

plethora

There’s a plethora of snacks on the supermarket shelves vying for your attention, but only one gives you the Golden Ticket to fame and fortune!

The Corntoz Express Yourself campaign gives you artistic liberty – just be yourself and eat Corntoz the way you enjoy it. Be you and nothing else. Express yourself in the way that only you can. I’m particularly interested in getting my video aired on national TV so I made several videos. Check out the Corntoz website to participate.

Just get your entries in before 30th June 2009.

You are a unique and beautiful snowflake. Don’t follow the crowd, let the crowd follow you! πŸ™‚

There are two in Aman Suria nowadays – one is pretty crappy and one very good. This is the good one.
beat_ram: LOL! Well, it keeps all the stuff nice and warm inside. πŸ˜‰
benjy8769: I ate two packets last night. The mini ones are great coz I can’t eat an entire packet all by myself. πŸ™‚
Erica: Snacks…hmm…there are some very interesting ones here, but most of the stuff I see is imported. πŸ™‚
We do have some great local snacks though.

    1) Salt and vinegar chips
    2) Wasabi chips
    3) Nachos
    4) Doritos (original flavor)
    5) Black-pepper sembei
(after 5, ranking doesn’t matter, because nothing else comes close.)

  6. On your erring and forgiving post, I wanted to ask you a work related question:
Would you forgive someone who mistakenly fed you a beef burger, if you were Taoist?
Does it rank highly on your forgivable scale??
    πŸ™‚
    Me hopes so.
Else my job review is to be sucky.

  7. Actully I get snot, eye crud and ass crack stuff, otay? all of us need friends, sometimes they shit the bed,… and that is ok. shit wipes up ,you know. not plesaant, but true. Never fail to love; your family local persons, or strangers and they wiil be your friends. Once upon a time, I wished for great fame and glory. Know I know better. Better to pray and fly under the radar. The rest will come. I say a prayer for you, my friend, once in while. Say one for meand for the many who dont have one to pray for them., please. I could sure use it. God Bless, HB.

  8. pm: It’s a snack. Very tasty too, had some leftover coz I got a lot, been eating it while watching FMA lately.
    Jenny: Hey Jenny! πŸ™‚
Yes, I would forgive that, it’s no big deal to me. Perhaps a lot of it has to do with the fact that I eat just about anything, but I’m putting myself in that scenario and I can’t justifiably be angry about that.
So no, I won’t even be pissed off. I’ll just shrug it off and tell the person I’m a Taoist and I don’t eat beef. I won’t have any beef with him/her (pardon the pun). πŸ˜‰
Thus, it ranks very highly on the forgivable scale, harmless mistake if the person didn’t know. I was talking about wilful transgressions.
Jeff: LOL! Yes, I actually have a sheep farm in my condo. It supplements my income. πŸ˜‰
Rufus: Oh, about 10 or so, but I still have to tag them just in case those damn (insert stereotypical animal husbandry family name) from down the street (or a couple of doors down in the apartment complex) steals one of my damn rams again. πŸ˜‰
max: I am sad to report that I don’t know. It’s the default font in Windows Movie Maker.
    Food Promotions: Okayz.
    aud: Hmm…be a ram then. πŸ˜‰
    But sheep are cute! πŸ™‚
Marvin Lee: Yup, you know, I know, it’s pretty near where I live. πŸ™‚
tom robinson: Yup, shit always washes off. Thanks my friend, for your prayers. πŸ™‚
eiling: Haha! That would make it a bit X-rated, I did think of actually taking a dump but I don’t think the camerawomen would appreciate that. πŸ˜‰

Sheeples are edible, but to eat them, you’ll have to kill them first and I don’t think the government takes too kindly to that. πŸ˜‰
chefmel: Haha! I already got a lot la…somewhere in the archives.

  21. Moving home in Germany is extremely expensive, indeed the few miles from my little village to the barn require me to pay 2000.00 Euros, around it would have require me to pay having a UK removal firm to move my household goods completely from Wales to southern Germany. Labour costs in Germany make moving house very costly, perhaps one of the reasons why the labour marketplace is less flexible – people would rather stay there once they’ve moved to a place.

  31. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
