Blackberry Prepaid!

Man, I see all these people with Blackberry devices (plural: Blackberries?) doing everything a notebook can at a fraction of its size and I have to be honest, I find myself looking enviously at their canggih-ness.

I used to be an early adopter, getting PDAs and Pocket PCs before it came into vogue, but I have a problem with losing devices and now I can’t afford to get a BB.

I hear Xpax is coming out with a pre-paid version though, no details yet, so let’s see how this goes.

I’ll be getting one from them soon (w00t!), so more information when I get my grubby hands on it! =D

  2. now, i really have the urge to get one here, its about Β£300 per Blackberry phone here not including the sim card of any other mobile package. there’s this phenomenon that people with blackberry are happier and prouder as person..

  3. cindy khor: I’ve been wanting a BB since forever! I actually planned to get one later this year so it’s a good thing Xpax came in with this since I’m still broke from my 11k car repairs. πŸ™‚

  4. HB, I would love one, but where I live, ( a horse shoe shaped cove in the moutains of wnc) there are no bars. Dont even have a cell. Thats why I keep a land line. A blackberry is still a berry to pick and make a pie, or jam, here. but where ever you go, remermber, blackberreies have seeds. Hope you are well. tom

tom r: I sometimes long for the simple life too, living in a quiet little town, but I know my heart will always be in the big city. πŸ™‚
I’m glad I’m able to help somewhat. Take care my friend!
Simon Seow: BB! I’ve always wanted a BB, never did think of getting an iPhone.
Cheong Hao: Yeah, we’ve had them for a long time here too. I was considering a RIM (Research In Motion) device – the father of the Blackberry, back then before settling on the Palm m505 – coz it has color. πŸ™‚

  11. yea. hopefully it wont be that expensive and will be affordable for most people. they don’t suppose to just want to profit frm professionals or business man. they will earn a whole lot lesser if they do that.

  12. oh. Celcom is launching prepaid BB? Hey, I know someone who is already subscribing to prepaid blackberry from Maxis.
They already offer it today though no device that is cheap but I hear that Maxis’ curve 8520 may be cheaper than Celcom… but its just rumours. Better wait until both telcos announce their price if I were you.
FYI, you can activate your blackberry on Maxis prepaid by dialling *100#. Services.Prepaid Blackberry.
