Huge monitor lizard

monitor lizard pulau sapi

Monitor lizards roam freely about Pulau Sapi. I saw a huge entourage of people feeding it random stuff during our trip there, all at a safe distance.

They must be tourists coz if they were locals they would know that monitor lizards don’t attack unless you directly threaten it.

It was a good diversion though. Jerine promised me to bring me to this monitor lizard bak kut teh which I am rather looking forward too. I’m a big fan of exotic meat.

Experience the 5 feet monitor lizard! Kinda taller than you Aud! πŸ˜‰

  4. I have eaten monitor lizard since as a kid, but never in Bak Kut Teh. I believe it will be better than the crocodile bak kut teh which was not nice at all although the other crocodile dishes were awesome (yeah, Eddie told you it was alligator, but it should be crocodile).

  5. the signage which shows public toilet must be for the lizards. it’s so damn low which i guess it’s easier for the lizards to read where is the loo

  6. Ate that too. We had it with tempoyak. Nice. But I figure it is quite easy to eat that in Kuching. Anywhere after 7th mile.
Btw, I saw bigger lizard than the one in ur pic. Go to Tasik Harapan at USM. It looks like crocodile when it is swimming in the pond.

  8. reptile is not fatty, that’s why the meat is dry and tough. can probabaly BKT, just slow cook for many hours using charcoal fire and hand fan the fire. Wah, J really sayang you a lot. Man, she wants your baby bad dude. You better collect ang pow from her folks. Oh ya, reptiles are rather tasteless, add a crayfish to enchance the broth.

  10. For me having a display that includes an IPS panel is crucial. I do a great number of video/photo editing and graphic design, consequently creating accurate colours is critical. It goes without mention the viewing angles of IPS panels are infinitely better. My partner owns a TN screen and you are unable to even movie your head without the colors shifting. With any luck OLED displays will come shortly. These even make IPS monitors look low quality.
