The incriminating Episode 6

This is the episode I have been dreading. Cherie (my ex-girlfriend) came on set and gave the lowdown on how she met me.

I WANT TO GO ON RECORD HERE! That is not how I remember meeting her. T_T

The photo above was taken when we first met – Cherie is the one in green. This post describes the event leading up to when I first met Cherie and it does not involve toilets, washrooms, water closets or latrines. None. Nada. Zilch.

I wish Jojo and Michael would just run amok with the editing scissors and cut out the majority of the stuff. Heh! We did a couple of takes and there were things said which can best be described as uncomplimentary. πŸ˜‰

However, there were some good things said too, which didn’t go into the final episode. Can we have an outtakes episode? :p

tgif shoot

This episode was fun to do coz I had a (more than) a couple of beers while shooting the scene. You see, there’s this thing called “scene continuity” so if you mess up a scene but took a sip (or a gulp) from your freshly opened beer while at it, you’ll need a new one so it doesn’t look weird.

tgif start

This means you have to finish the current bottle. FML. πŸ˜‰

It was a good scene though, I like this one coz Cherie knows me well. I guess you can say that we’ve been through a lot together – it’s a chemical romance with its ups and downs but at the end, it’s nice that we can still be friends and say “Hey, when it was good, it was great right?” πŸ™‚

Here are the other episodes that I haven’t posted up:

Episode 5

Episode 4

I use Streamyx broadband at home and I love the speed it gives me. I’m on the 1 Mbps package and YouTube videos loads right away. Instant gratification! =D

OMG, so whos telling the truth? met in the toilet?! OMGWTF. To be honest, it somehow ruined your image.
btw, your ex-gf is so skeletonny-skinny.

  2. joy: Oh this is not the last episode, the last episode is not out yet, I’m waiting for that too. Pyrotechnics. =D
Haha! I don’t know, we remember different versions of the event. πŸ™‚
Come to think about it, we BOTH can’t remember a lot of details in the relationship. It was a…chemical relationship, if you catch my drift.
Ya it totally ruined my image, right? T_T
eiling: Haha! I did not, but I did drink a few bottles that day. πŸ˜‰

  3. Cheers: I KNOW! T____T
Haha! Actually the first first time we met come to think of it was when I went in, ordered a lethal drink I just made up myself, downed it, paid and left in 5 minutes coz I have insomnia. I went back the next night for another. I think that was when she noticed me, although I didn’t see her then. That post was when I noticed her. πŸ™‚
xes: Really?????? Well, the Cherie I know is the one from back then so I still think the old photo looks much better. =D
She had this innocent yet mischievious look to her back then. πŸ™‚
KY: Yeah, but I think she looks better back then. I get startled every time I see her now coz she keeps getting skinner. πŸ™‚
cheesie: No leng lui but one leng zhai. He’s HOT (pun intended). πŸ˜‰
    Breathing fire and all that.

I think BOTH our versions were a bit off. It’s coz…we can’t actually remember. I remember being introduced by Irene, a mutual friend of ours…but we were all drinking, and other stuff, and now that I think back, I can’t remember much from that year at all.
    It’s a good thing I keep a blog. πŸ˜‰

  5. LOL All I remember about you and Cherie was the conversation I had with you. Your short term memory probably don’t remember any now. πŸ˜›
She is really getting more skinny. I like the time I saw her in Soho few years back, mini skirt, walking nonchalantly to the restroom, cool~~~

  6. hey hb, gotta watchout for the fungus amoung us… particulatly like me… less meat equals low cholesteral… hey a bit of whole wheat pasta. a small glass of red wine ( not the whole damn bottle). longer life… s’okay with me. but over here, I bought some “jasmine rice”. I like the flavour, but is it worth the differece in price? 2bucks a lb. i guess it depends on how you cook it. like potatoes. I like the little reds or yukon golds for some things, but when you are hungry, it all tastes pretty good. I’ve ate crisonts, but when you are about to live under a bridge, pop tarts, even the knock offs, are pretty good. we are lucky. or at least I am. I think Ill take the hound down east for one of the holidays. you meet the most interesting persons in bus stations at 1 am. hope you are well, my friend. ( but I still dont care for squid…. called bait, around here… much like fish eggs, roe, etc… caviar?…

  7. different generations, even 2. but I could never raise my or or hand against you or more importantly, your kids. and that is a long, hard lesson learned. I look at a Maylasian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Viet, Cammbodian, etc… well. I see the same. but before you condemn… what about…. well… america… north, south or central… um, its like me saying all swedes and norwegiians are blonde and blue eyed. or all scotts are red haired. and all blacks come from one big country called africa, right? well, not so much…

  8. and that goes for south america. can you tell the differnece between a mex or a ecudorian? or el savadorioin? well to be honest, its pretty tough. but having lived in the southeast, I can spot a fake yankee in a heartbeat. and thats a fact.

  9. fish fish: Oh ya, you never met her when I was with her in Kuching right? She’s in KL now!
I do remember the conversation. πŸ™‚
ShaolinTiger: Haha! It wasn’t very complimentary either. πŸ™‚
hedonistics anonymous: I can’t remember anything of that night to be honest! Smoked up after that, had too much to drink as usual and woke up the next day scrambling to swallow some DF-118s before jumping into the shower and going out. Fun and crazy times indeed. πŸ™‚
tom: Jasmine rice eh? Yeah, that’s the rice we usually eat over here. Not exactly as healthy as brown unpolished rice (which my parents eat occasionally) but tastes better.
hitomi: We’re waiting for the cameras to roll so we can walk down to TGIF. πŸ™‚
tom: Indeed! Yeah I guess it’s just one of those things, I can spot mainland Chinese and Malaysian Chinese with some degree of accuracy but it’s not perfect. Anyway, wish you are well, my friend! πŸ™‚

I can laugh in any language…. tom , thanks…

There’s more stuff in the blog, Cherie is a lot of fun, we had a blast together. I remember one particular NYE we spent at a hotel suite and totally missed the countdown coz we were on quite a few things. Heh!
She was quite the crowd favorite back then too, had readers asking me to post more Cherie posts. T_T

Indeed, I agree with that. What’s that saying? Man is only 3 meals away from anarchy. πŸ™‚
Christine: Eh sorry, I just happen to talk to people without introducing myself sometimes. T_T
Haha! Well, my name is Huai Bin but you can call me anything you want as long as it’s something related to me. πŸ™‚

Okay, I admit I used to down a bottle of whisky neat every night in Kuching…and Cherie had to literally drag me home. Thanks for that. Haha!
Eh, disclaimer, that was the past though. Bit fucked up then, saner now. πŸ˜‰

I remember she was the one who introduced us.
Of course the readers believe you, you’re like the most popular girl on sixthseal.com so that’s not a fair gauge. :p

  19. e: Heh! Thanks for that mate. I’m saving it!!! I’m going to COOK as soon as I move to my new apartment and my first recipe is going to involve your hot sauce! =D
…: No, we didn’t change per se, we just became more paranoid. We’ve been through a lot, both on her side and on my side. It’s hard, being people like us (ex drug users) working in the corporate world. Discrimination and all that shit. We’re playing the cards we’ve been dealt with though. πŸ™‚
    It’s all good. Cheers mate.
What I won’t give (and I speak for you too Cherie) to go back and choose a different path.
Eh, fuck that shit, nah, we both won’t. πŸ˜‰
