Spoon included

spoon

There is no a spoon! smirk

This is a pleasant surprise, albeit a rather funny one. I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw the spoon.

She actually packed a home-cooked dinner for me – complete with prawns, beans, and a fried egg at the bottom of the rice. It’s very nicely done, packaged and delivered.

I opened the paper bag and saw the Tupperware containing the dinner.

…with a spoon.

Me: You even packed a spoon!
Her: Haha! Used to it dy.

I do have spoons at home, contrary to popular belief. I do appreciate the effort though and seeing the spoon made me laugh.

I love you dear. <3

    • Yup, it’s a good feeling!

It was very nice of her to cook this for me. I still don’t understand the spoon though. Haha!

      Thanks Constance! πŸ™‚

    • Haha! I wouldn’t know how to interpret that but to paraphrase Freud badly, sometimes a fork is just a fork? πŸ˜‰

  1. CHOP!!!! Stamp of approval!
1 I love the look of what she cooked. Yummmm!!!!!
2 She used a bowl to scoop the rice. Very meticulous in what she does.
3 She included a spoon. Very thoughtful – some young guys don’t even have that in the house.
4 She keeps nice bags for use when giving stuff to people – more presentable, nicer than those flimsy plastic bags. (I do this too! Hehehehehe!)
I do hope it works out and works out well, my friend. Nice guy like you do deserve to be loved and to be happy. All the best this time around.

    • …and she uses Tupperware. Hmmm…got class, not those “microwave oven safe” plastic containers…or the polystyrene ones you get from the chap fan shops. That would be the pits! LOL!!!

      • Haha! Yeah, I also noticed that after…

…grabbing some plastic bags, I felt bad so I went running in search of a paper bag today to give something to her. πŸ™‚

      • I did that today too!

I was buying some stuff, realized that the plastic bags were really crappy and went hunting for a proper paper bag. πŸ™‚

Yup, she’s really meticulous and she’s really nice.

Now, to hold on to her…I’ll need to work very hard on that.

I want to be with her.

  2. P.S.
Have you returned the spoon? Hope you did not return it just like that… Buy a nice slice of (expensive/exclusive) cake or something and send it to her…with the spoon. Wink! Wink!

  4. Wow! I would be in Cloud 9 too. My wife used to pack her cute Japanese Bento meals in a box for my breakfasts until she started lecturing in a university.
Hope you will tie the knot with the chef soon!

  5. I can see that she’s quite meticulous in the presentation of your dinner box, which shows that you matter a lot to her. =D

I’m sure the bento must have been lovely.

P.S. Perhaps, somewhere in the future, she wants you to remember how you two got together? I believe she’s merely thoughtful. =)
