A very unfortunate Sunday

new outfit

I went shopping at Pavilion on Sunday coz I had RM 600 vouchers to clear. I got:

1 x shoes
1 x shirt
1 x pants
4 x socks
2 x belts

And that came up to a total of RM 775 so I topped up RM 175. I was enamored by this large belt which cost about RM 220. It is made of faux snake skin (?) and every guy needs a huge belt. I don’t have one.

I was feeling a little inadequate in the manhood department so I decided to get it. I am going to try and wear it with one of my work outfits. Aza says it doesn’t really gel and the other belt I got looks more like I’m about to go out and ask for more budget from clients. Haha!

Anyway, after all that restocking the wardrobe bit, we went to find the car…which was a bit of a challenge. I was rushing to an event and it took us almost an hour (!!!) to find the car. I should have taken a photo like I always do. >.<

parking waiting lost ticket

Naturally, the ticket had expired (15 minutes grace period after you pay at the autopay stations) so I talked to the lady at the intercom, but she was adamant about not letting me out. Grr…

Thus, my friend went down to pay the ticket…and promptly dropped the ticket somewhere.

Lost parking ticket fee: RM 50
Shopping for clothes: RM 775
Getting to the event on time: Priceless

We also gave a piece of our mind to the intercom lady about not getting into the festive spirit and all that.

Not in English of course, I think we spoke in French. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. You know sometimes when shit happens they just happen like diarrhea, all at one time ๐Ÿ˜› I remembered once I had to print my assignment which was gonna be due in minutes time (!!!!), almost four printing shops I went in uni had their color laser printer out of order!! And when I finally found one shop, far end in the uni , I manage to get it print but when I got out from the shop, it was raining like it never rained before! >.

  2. ChefMel is right, you should have gotten your act together and losing the parking ticket is a sin. How the hell can your mate lose a parking ticket, unless he was ogling sone hot chick, that’s forgivable.
Back to the belt, come on Bro, you don’t need a fat belt to impress chicks. A chick magnet like you have everything going for you already. Won’t it be better if you spend that money on a nice meal and take pictures to share with us.
Oh, I want picture of Ah Moy, ha ha ha.

  3. So practically RM225. Wow… it’s an opportunity cost for free stuff + lost tix. Yikes.
But, you feel happy with the new stuff u got right?? That’s all that matters!!!!!

eiling: I’ll show you next time. Very nifty. ๐Ÿ™‚
Kim Ong: It’s more like RM 237 coz parking was RM 12. T_T
Pavillion has expensive parking. I should have just paid the lost parking fee instead.
Yup, I’m happy with the shirt. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. HB: you are my hero again, Tiger Woods have to take a holiday, coz you seem to have an endless stream of chicks following you around. You are the REAL Chick Magnet, the real McCoy.
But in the future please don’t give the parking ticket to your female/girlfriend/future wife or she will lose it and you can never be at anywhere on time and you wallet will be $50 lighter.
Hey $50 is no laughing matter, can buy me a steak and beer already. ha ha ha

  10. Aesthetic Store: Eh?
tom: Indeed my friend, that sounds like a great weekend. I can’t speak Welsh.
Be well my friend (brother in Christ?) and take care! ๐Ÿ™‚
Tuanku: I tried that at a toll plaza once. The bar came down on my car. T_T
chunsiang: That is a bit too deep for me bro. ๐Ÿ™‚
    rocket: Heh! Cheers bro! ๐Ÿ™‚

ah nel: Haha! FHL then, she’s just grumpy coz she’s stuck behind a hailer at a parking lot in KL on a weekend. Still no excuse though. PR fail. We spoke quite a bit of French to her to put her in her place. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  12. tom: Indeed my friend, indeed. Hope you’re doing well too. ๐Ÿ™‚
J2Kfm: Yeah, I think it’s pretty much standard RM 50 for a lost ticket. I don’t know what the max rate at Pavilion is but I paid RM 12 for a couple of hours.
Hmm…come to think of it, no she didn’t. ๐Ÿ™‚
