Say YES!

Christmas Turkey

It’s the festive season now! Christmas just passed and we have also welcomed 2015 not long ago. You’ve eaten your roast turkey dinner and pandoro and it’s time to usher in 2015. There’s awesome shopping deals everywhere, so where do you put your hard-earned money?

Well, for me it should be something which you use everyday. No point in getting a huge stuffed bear (even if it’s on sale) if you’re not going to do anything with it.

Cell phones on the other hand, is an essential tool in today’s life. You need it to take selfies, call people, chat on Whatsapp, play games, basically everything you do is revolved around the smartphone and DiGi has got an awesome deal for you!

In addition to the free phones, new signups can get free extra 2,400 minutes and 2,400 SMS and that’s a deal that’s only valid during the Jualan Terhebat DiGi. It’s always useful to have plenty of call minutes and text messages coz wishing someone makes it all that more sincere when you take the time to pick up the phone and call instead of just using a massive cut-and-paste Whatsapp message (and don’t fool yourself, everyone knows it’s cut and paste ;)).

However, data is very important too, I’ll say it’s essential in this day and age, and that’s why DG SmartPlan offers one of the best data packages around:

DG SmartPlan 2014

DG SmartPlan 78 offers a total of 3 GB of data per month, DG SmartPlan 108 gives out a whopping 5 GB of data and DG SmartPlan 148 is for the power user with 6 GB total of data. There’s a plan for every user and need.

There are also a lot of extra benefits when you sign-up:

DG SmartPlan Extra Benefits

Yup, weekend calls are free from DiGi to DiGi and there’s unlimited music streaming via Deezer too. My favorite has got to be unlimited surfing via Opera Mini – please feel free to browse my mobile friendly but image heavy blog at sixthseal.com. Heh. Seriously though, with free Norton Mobile Security, you can surf anywhere without having to worry about malware and there’s free DiGi Visual Voicemail.

I’m personally on the DG SmartPlan as well. You can send a Whatsapp my way if you don’t believe me, my number is 016 888 2069 and it’s free for you since the DG SmartPlan offers free Whatsapp too! Just surf on over to the Jualan Terhebat DiGi to get more details or purchase a new smartphone at great deals. You get up to RM 200 rebates if you’re switching to DiGi too! Don’t miss out!

P/S – Just don’t send me any naughty photos, I’m past the age where I’ll snicker at them.

  1. So many free. But not thinking of switching yet coz the coverage for DIGI not good at my new place. It’s like a blackhole there. Hope DIGI will increase their coverage area

    • DiGi is very, very good in Sarawak! πŸ™‚

That’s why I got it, it was a line that I’ve had since I was in Sarawak, before I went to uni in Australia so that’s quite a long time I’ve been with them.

It’s not too bad here though, at least to the places I go to.

  2. YES! YES! YES! YES! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love DiGi for all their best packages all these years that sent some rivals copying so hard. I should dump my Samsung S3 and get a new Samsung now! Should I?
Samsung has the best camera quality!

    • Yeah, they have good data packages! πŸ™‚

I’m on a great data package with them too. Yeah, go get the new Samsung, it sounds like a great deal if you’re renewing.

  3. I thought you proposed and she said yes, haha..
Hubby is using DiGi package and he is waiting for June this year, for the contract to end, then he can get a new phone with a new package, something like that..
I’m using S3 like TM too, time to get a new phone I guess.. But undecided which phone should I get..

    • Yeah that sounds great! πŸ™‚

If you’re renewing your contract, you can get a new phone with a new package too. I’m partial to Sony and I’ve been using their phones for years – from Xperia S to Xperia Z1 but to be honest I think iPhone has the best photo quality without lots of tweaking.

It’s so good in Sarawak right? I don’t know why they don’t have as good a reputation here, DiGi in Sarawak is the best in terms of coverage, we can even get great coverage in ulu ulu places which no other telcos go to.

  4. Wow these look like some fantastic deals. Unfortunate that I’m not currently based in Malaysia (though my mom is a Maxis fan and hence I still have a Maxis subbed line).

When I arrived in Japan, my company gave me a phone which unfortunately can only make local calls and had no data plan. It was a pain in the backside living without data plan. No Whatsapp, no instant Googling anything that bugs me and most annoyingly, no Google Maps while traveling. I had to rely on good ol’ fashioned print-out maps which used up more time but made finding my destination especially rewarding.

    • Did you get what they call a Galapagos phone (garakei)? πŸ™‚

I’ve always thought they’re great stuff! It was ahead of it’s time, pre-smartphone, it was the best in terms of functionality.

Yeah, I think using a good paper map is a lot of fun, especially when you’re in a new place, a new city, a new country, like you were at the time. I can’t wait to go to Japan!

      • YES! The company gave a good ol’ flip phone with physical buttons keypad. I guess you can consider that a garakei. I was typing a SMS on the keypad to a colleague and it reminded me so much of my secondary school days!

    • Oh, I meant free Whatsapp communication! πŸ™‚

Whatsapp is free but communication (data) over Whatsapp isn’t – this means that you’ll get free Whatsapp e.g. the data you get allocated each month isn’t used up by Whatsapp and you can use it even after you hit your data limit per month.

    • Yeah, especially with the Samsung vs Apple thing! πŸ™‚

It’s market saturation for the highest end models and less people are upgrading when they don’t feel a need to, unless they need to coz most people don’t use the FULL functionality of their phones either, not unless they play ultra demanding Unreal Engine games like the ones that can only run on iPhone 6.

I’ve been with them a long, long time and back then was on an awesome prepaid line that ended with 0110 with an 888 middle.
