Greetings from Legoland Malaysia!

Greetings from Legoland Malaysia

We’re here on a 3D/2N adventure with the kids before school starts! We were at the Legoland Water Park for the whole day yesterday and we’re going to the Legoland Theme Park today. It’s a good thing we’re staying at the Legoland Hotel coz guests can enter the park earlier at 9:30 am before it opens to the general public.

The rooms are gorgeous, will write more about it when I come back. It’s time to go get some breakfast – we had room service last night coz the kids were tired and it wasn’t good at all. Unfortunately, most of the items were cold and one dish was inedible (stringy, dry chicken) but otherwise the experience here is great. The service and attentiveness of the staff is awesome!

*cue Everything is AWESOME!!!!* smirk

    • Yeah, we’re actually still at Legoland Hotel! πŸ™‚

We went to the Legoland Theme Park whole day yesterday and we’re still here today (Monday). We’ll probably go swimming later. Cheers!

It was a lot of fun – the kids loved it, we bought lots of Lego back too. I thought the Legoland Hotel was awesome – worth the thousands we spent on this trip.

Loved going to Legoland, it wasn’t open last time I was there, now it’s getting bigger and bigger, with a new Star Wars exhibit. We even saw a real life Lego Friends live musical while we were there that the little one loved to bits.

  2. Enjoy your trip.. Sorry about the unpleasant food, but most important the kids are happy and they enjoyed themselves.. Not cheap going to Legoland I know, like RM1k for a family of 4? I’ve read somewhere in a brochure..

    • Thanks for that! πŸ™‚

Yeah, the food was subpar but the experience more than made up for it! Legoland Hotel is amazing, well worth the thousands we paid for this trip. It was 2k for the hotel room, 1k for the entrance to Legoland for 2 days, so that alone would set you back several thousand.

I know I used around RM 3,500 (not inclusive of hotel or flight tickets) for Lego sets, t-shirts, and misc stuff like F&B (got the kids and my better half a 750 ml bottle which is Legoland branded and you can sling around your shoulder while drinking – RM 81 for that). It’s not cheap but it’s fun for the kids and for us too so it’s money well spent.

There’s lots to do for the Lego fan. I found out that we can approach any one of the staff to *trade* Lego minifigures – you can swap yours (if you have duplicates) for the one they have on their name tag. How interesting and interactive right? Awesome stuff!
