Board ferry from Hong Kong to Macau
Puke on the ferry
Spend 2 hours clearing immigration
Get accosted by representatives of various casinos and board one of their free shuttles
Lose an insane amount of money
Eat a pork chop bun to try and cheer yourself up
Walk aimlessly around Senado Square
Contemplate suicide, settles for shaking fist at Grand Lisboa
Return to Hong Kong

LOLOLOL this post really made my day. +1111111
Haha! Thanks Peggy! π
It was surprisingly close to the truth. π
damn funny la you. hahaha. good one hb. π
Heh! Well, I lost a lot of photos coz I can’t seem to find my dSLR card but this is the abridged version of what happened. π
huai bin, your pork chop bun smile really looks forced lol. sorry π
It was *very* forced, Kim. I just lost HKD 25,000 which is about RM 10,000 in the casino. I could barely eat. π
HAHAHA
Oh dear. You get sea sick? Any possibility of sitting in the open? That way, you will not get sea sick…but if it’s here in Sarawak on a fine day and the journey is long, you’ll end up looking like a cooked lobster – red, sunbuirnt. LOL!!!
I usually don’t get sea sick, but for some reason I felt like throwing up that day.
I guess it’s too much sun. It was very hot when we went. π
The ferry was quite fast though. π
Oops…now where did my comment go? I think I got the URL wrong in that one… Probably gone into SPAM!. LOL!!!
Heh! I got it!
I was super nauseous the entire time in Macau, not sure why. Probably heat stroke. π
I always bring those chi-kit pills (hoon sua wang) when travelling. Good for heat stroke, nausea, stomach discomfort and instant cure for food poisoning. Don’t leave home without it.
I love those too! It really helps with heatstroke, always wards it off for me. π
i was expecting egg tarts and all. π
This was meant to be a funny post…and sadly, it is all true. T_T
Haha! Well, I ate at two egg tart places, first one was here:

I haven’t wrote about the second one yet. π
Never been to Macau before π Last time I went HK, it was during primary school LOL and my family chose to go Lantau Island instead of Macau :S
Well, close enough for government work. π
Macau is really nice coz of the cultural heritage mix and history. I’ll do a proper post on it soon, this is just a lark I did about the thing I now dismiss as the “Macau affair” but which I’m still paying for now. T_T
Hah! That’s what you get when you have affair with the casinos :p
we pretty did the same thing. except that i didn’t puke! first thing i did when i was on board, armed with the paper bag and dozed off. haha it works. for me and my friend! phew
I usually don’t puke too. I don’t know what was wrong with me that day.
I couldn’t eat the pork chop buns coz I had nausea from heatstroke. It got better though.
Yeah, it’s good that they provide sick bags eh? π
HB, guess the ferry ride was kind of rough on you. Some time I felt seasick riding the ferry to east bay in San Francisco depend on the weather. Pork chop bun is good and I did enjoy African chicken well known in Macau.
Nope, I’m fine with the sea. *shows sea legs
I even go deep sea fishing (but always come back with horrible sunburns after a couple of days out at sea).
However, I was really sick that day, not sure why. Yup, the pork chop bun is good eh. It cheered me up somewhat after that trip to the casino. π
Let’s go to Genting’s casino…
Haha! I’m going to quit gambling. I’m serious. I won’t step into a casino and bet anymore.
Macau was my last casino sojourn. Gotta keep the savings up for important stuff in life. π
