Kokoberry is a franchise specializing in bubble tea and other drinks. It’s a franchise that I saw in Miri and it’s now available in Sibu, operated by none other than fellow blogger Mary Ting in Delta Mall.
Kokoberry has a very impressive menu of drinks ranging from bubble tea to coffee. It focuses on milk based drinks and also has a range of crepes which were unfortunately out of stock this morning.
Mary (better known as goolooloo in the blogsphere) recommended the drinks from the Top 9 menu, which is the nine most popular drinks by Kokoberry. She was kind enough to allow me to tour behind the counter to take photos of Kokoberry.
This is the Blueberry Yogurt Shake (RM 4.20 / RM 3.80). It’s one of the premium drinks from the Top 9 menu that contains real fruit pieces. It tastes great and I bet it’ll do wonders for your bowel movements too. 😉
This is the Ice Blended Cappuccino (RM 4.30 / RM 3.90) which would make a great start to your day. I made an appointment with Mary at 10:30 am but I…er, kinda woke up late and only got there at 11:15 pm. The coffee gave my hungover neurons a kick start. 🙂
This is the Ice Cream Rainbow (RM 2.90 / RM 2.60) which is made with strawberry ice cream. Mary warned me that this is a very sweet drink and I have to agree, despite having a bit of a sweet tooth. Sugar rush! It contains bits of jelly and the squiggly green things in chendol, which adds to the texture of the drink.
I also found out that drinking from two different drinks at the same time does wonders to the texture and taste, much like the famous Ratatouille scene. 😉 Shotgun bubble tea!

fish fish: The crepe is HUGE! I saw it at the Kokoberry outlet in Miri. I’ll blog about it when I eat it. Anyway, wild boar crepe sounds good. That’s one unique ingredient indeed. You always get to find all these strange and delicious food!
Darren: Yeah, it’s like the YoYo franchise in KK, Sabah. That’s a successfull bubble tea franchise too.
Simmy: It is, and it’s cheaper than Starbucks/Coffee Bean which is important with the petrol price hike. I’m feeling it already. I drove down to Jakar during the weekend and had to fill up nearly RM 50 for a half tank! I calculate that’s RM 28 more for a full tank for my Vios.
im a fan of bubble tea! minus the milk, of course. i find it abit ‘too much’ with milk in it. and yeah, not that i need so much of that calcium anyway 😉

cynthia: I like very milky stuff. I found out that I’ve become a bit lactose intolerant though. Which is VERY STRANGE since I can finish one of those Coles 5 liter bottles of fresh milk within a day easily when I was in Melbourne. I can’t drink that much milk now. I’ve always wondered why, was it coz of the ICU incident when I OD’d and messed up my livers and kidneys? Is it possible to become lactose intolerant due to damage to the kidneys and/or liver?
Anak Pak Lah: It depends…it’ll be popular in places like Delta Mall where there is a lot of foot traffic. Shopping malls are great for stuff like these. 🙂

STP says the food at Li Hua buffet is good. I personally have never tried it myself, but I do trust in his taste. He is more expert than me in makan. 😉

jessy: It can be a bit too sweet for some people. You can ask the person making it to put less sugar syrup inside. 🙂
